Terms of Service

Welcome to Souza Cleaning Services. By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling a cleaning.

1. Scope of Services

Souza Cleaning Services provides professional cleaning for residential homes, apartments, condominiums, and commercial offices. The specific scope of work (Standard, Deep, or Move-In/Out Clean) is defined at the time of booking.

2. Florida At-Will Service & Right of Refusal

In accordance with Florida business practices, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We also reserve the right to leave a property if it poses a safety or health hazard (e.g., extreme mold, biohazards, or presence of unsecured aggressive pets).

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Estimates: All quotes are estimates based on the information provided by the client. We reserve the right to adjust the price if the condition of the property differs significantly from the description.

  • Payment: Payment is due in full at the time of service unless a prior billing agreement is in place. We accept Credit Cards, Checks, and Cash.

  • Late Fees: Payments not received within 48 hours of service may be subject to a late fee of $ 30.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We value our cleaners’ time.

  • Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or instances where our team cannot access the property (lock-outs), will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost.

5. Access to Property

Clients must provide access to the property at the scheduled time. This can be via a key, door code, or being present to let the team in. If we are unable to enter the property within 15 minutes of our arrival, it will be considered a lock-out and a fee will apply.

6. Liability and Insurance

  • Bonded and Insured: Souza Cleaning Services is fully insured and bonded in the State of Florida.

  • Breakage/Damage: While we treat your property with the utmost care, accidents can happen. We must be notified of any damage within 24 hours of the service. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation of items (e.g., heavy pictures not properly anchored).

  • Valuables: Please secure all jewelry, cash, and irreplaceable heirlooms before our arrival.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive for excellence. If you are not satisfied with a specific area of our cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours. We will return to re-clean the area at no additional cost. Please note that we do not offer refunds, only re-cleans.

8. Non-Solicitation of Employees

Our employees are our greatest asset. By using our services, you agree not to solicit or hire any current or former employee of Souza Cleaning Services for private work for a period of one year following their last date of employment with us. Violation of this clause results in a referral fee of $ 150.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these services shall be resolved in the courts of [Insert County Name, e.g., Orange County or Broward County], Florida.
